Internal Account Manager – IT Value Added Reseller Sales & Business Development

As a complete solutions provider, our Client partners with the major tier 1 vendors, including Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, Dell, VMware, Kaspersky Lab, Citrix and Sophos, providing high quality accredited installation and support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role involves business development, prospecting and lead generation, account management, sales reporting, use of CRM systems and sales forecasting
  • Meet or exceed sales quota by establishing new relationships and uncovering new opportunities
  • Meet or exceed key activity metrics agreed with Line Manager
  • Accurately manage your sales opportunity pipeline and forecast accurately
  • Capture detailed information about Clients and opportunities in the CRM database
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and activity within your accounts
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge around the organisations product and service offering
  • Develop base-line knowledge of competitors and their product/service offering
  • Work with other departments across the business to ensure that Clients needs are met, orders are processed and fulfilled correctly and product lead-times are communicated accurately


Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a target driven, results orientated B2B sales environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to learn quickly, along with a professional image and the proven ability to deliver and exceed targets
  • Experience in lead generation, building a sales pipeline, negotiating and closing sales deals and key account management with B2B clients
  • Possess good IT product knowledge
  • Be confident & tenacious
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the IT Channel model
  • Show commercial awareness
  • Excel in planning & organization
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Demonstrate high literacy & numeracy
  • Possess Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
